Play Ambassador - Part-Time
DOT Playspace is looking for a dependable, enthusiastic Play Ambassador to join our team.
This is a part-time W-2 position with a primary need for weekday daytime availability, especially Tuesdays and Wednesdays, plus opportunities to pick up additional shifts, parties, and special events.
About the Role

Welcome families and assist with check-in

Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming playspace

Clean, sanitize, organize, and reset play areas throughout the day

Assist families with questions about DOT, memberships, events, and policies

Support birthday parties and special events as needed

Complete opening and closing responsibilities

Take initiative to keep the space organized and ready for families
Availability

Weekday daytime availability is required

Tuesday and/or Wednesday daytime availability is strongly preferred

Monday daytime availability is also helpful

Occasional Saturday availability is preferred

Flexibility to pick up additional shifts, parties, or events is a plus
Qualifications

Dependable, responsible, and proactive
-
Friendly and comfortable interacting with children and families

Able to work independently and take initiative

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Comfortable with regular cleaning and maintaining the playspace

Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred, but not required
Compensation: $15/hour W-2
This position is a great fit for someone looking for a smaller number of regular part-time hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts as they become available.
