Cancellation Policy

BOOKING Reservations are recommended. If there are no reservations on the calendar, DOT Playspace may close early or adjust staffing. Walk-ins are accepted only if we are already open and have space available. HOW TO BOOK Reservations can be made online through our website or by phone. PAYMENT Payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. For phone reservations or walk-ins, payment will be accepted at the door. Unpaid reservations will only be held for 10 minutes before being offered to a waiting family. TIME LIMITS AND ROLLING ENTRY Open Play sessions usually do not have a time limit. Families may stay and play until closing. If we reach capacity during busy times (15 children), a 90 minute limit will be enforced so that waiting families have a turn to play. Staff will always notify caregivers if time limits need to be enforced. RE-ENTRY Once a family exits DOT Playspace, their play session is considered complete. Re-entry is not permitted unless a new session is booked. This helps us manage capacity and maintain a safe, consistent experience for all guests. CANCELLATIONS Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance qualify for a full refund or credit. RESCHEDULING Families may reschedule their session up to 1 hour before their scheduled play time, depending on availability. Rescheduling can be done online (website or direct message) or by calling DOT. NO-SHOWS No-shows without prior cancellation forfeit the session. No refunds or credits will be issued. ILLNESS POLICY If a child becomes ill, we encourage families to contact us as soon as possible. We understand that illness cannot always be predicted within the 24 hour window. DOT Playspace reviews illness-related cancellations on a case-by-case basis. In many situations, we allow a refund. In some cases, we may issue a credit or offer a rescheduled session depending on the timing of the cancellation and the circumstances. WAITLIST If a session is fully booked, families may join the waitlist online. When a spot becomes available, families will be notified by email or text in the order they joined. They will have 30 minutes to confirm before the spot is offered to the next family. GENERAL GUIDELINES DOT Playspace is a shoe-free facility and socks are required for all guests. This helps protect our youngest crawlers by keeping floors clean and safe. Our team cleans and sanitizes the entire facility daily using non-toxic and child-safe disinfectants.
